(Coffs Harbour, 23rd December 2008)
Coffs Open Air Cinema is returning in 2009 and invites you to spend an unforgettable summer at the Coffs Harbour Jetty foreshore enjoying your favourite movies under the stars from Sunday 4th to Sunday 18th January.
The Jetty foreshore will be transformed into an Open Air Cinema experience for 15 nights. This is a wonderful opportunity for locals and visitors to the Coffs Coast to watch the latest release films in a beautiful setting by the sea. Gather family and friends and relax with a picnic as the sun sets and the screen lights up.
Newcastle Permanent Coffs Open Air Cinema will be screening some very recent releases including Baz Luhrmann’s Australia, High School Musical 3: Senior Year, Wall-E, Mamma Mia!, Burn after Reading, The Dark Knight, Sex and the City: The Movie and more.
Coffs Open Air Cinema is proudly sponsored by Newcastle Permanent, whose CEO Terry Millett said, “Newcastle Permanent is extremely pleased to be associated with such a premier event in Coffs Harbour. It is a perfect opportunity for families to enjoy a fun and affordable evening together.”
“Sponsoring Coffs Open Air Cinema allows us to fulfil two of our commitments: supporting the communities we serve and providing value to our members. We are committed to supporting community events in the Coffs Harbour region and recently sponsored the Cool Creek Rhythms festival earlier this year,” Mr Millett said.
Newcastle Permanent Coffs Open Air Cinema runs for 15 nights from Sunday 4th January. Gates will open at 7pm and screenings will commence at sundown, approximately 8.15pm. Tickets will be available from 5.30pm each night at the door. Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for children.
Experience an amazing summer by the sea with the Newcastle Permanent Coffs Open Air Cinema from 4th-18th January 2009.
